A new member of the Delaney family

This is Margo she was found when Jack was walking the dogs up the hill and she is very friendly. Jack was looking for Margo's Mum but he looked everywhere and couldn't find it. So now it is a new member of our family. Margo is drinking cows milk and water but she is having little nibbles on grass but not eating it yet.

Push press up

It was a lovely sunny day in Sarah’s stunning beautiful huge house. She starts her press ups and in 10 minutes she does 400 press ups. WOW!

While Sarah does her morning exercise, she was looking down at the wooden floor. While listening to soothing music she is touching the wooden slippery floor. For Sarah’s dinner last night she had meatballs, so now she still has the taste of meatballs in her mouth. Then a whoosh of fresh air came in from out of the window, sending a nice smell to her nose.

Sarah is feeling energetic and pumped because she wants to get ready for the day ahead of her.

For 30 minutes doing press ups, she has completed 1,200 press-ups. So that was pretty cool.

Maths fun

In this months maths we have been learning fractions, decimals, ordering fractions on a number line and improper to mixed or mixed to improper fractions.

This month I have learnt how to order fractions on a number line and how to change improper to mixed or mixed to an improper fraction.

I enjoyed doing fractions on a number line because you have to find where the fractions went. Also I liked converting improper fractions to mixed fractions or mixed fractions to improper fractions.

I think I need to improve on my decimals because I have only had a little bit of time doing decimals and I think I might need to work on it a bit longer.

When I have been doing maths I think I have learnt quiet a bit of stuff and I think that I have done alright in maths. But I just need to work on decimals a bit more.

Daffodil Day

Today is Daffodil Day. It is a day to raise money for Cancer people. It is a very special day today. Te Mahia School had to wear yellow or green. We had to give a gold coin donation so then we can send the money away to the Cancer Society. Have a great Daffodil Day today.
